Continuous meteorological C storage estimates were based on continuous eddy-covariance measurements, while continuous biometric C storage was estimated from measured annual C storage (closed circles) and ~weekly growth measurements. Agreement between the two independent estimates improved with every cumulative year, differing by 74 % after the first year and by less than 1 % after the fifth year.
