June 15-20, 2008 Jennifer Ottesen attended the Bioorganic GRC. She presented a poster, and served as a Discussion Leader.

June 11-14, CERMACS 2008 was held in Columbus, OH. Jennifer Ottesen presided over a session in Peptide and Protein Engineering, and presented a talk. John Shimko and Mridula Manohar each presented posters; John was selected for the SciMix opening session at COSI.

Annick Edon was admitted to the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She will be leaving us for her new program in June.

Stacy Baker is joining our laboratory as Research Assistant. Stacy earned an honors degree from OSU in 2008; she performed her research in the Dalton laboratory. Welcome Stacy.

Fernando Rosado will be joining our laboratory for the summer through the NSF-REU program in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics. Fernando is a student at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus.
