The following ArcIMS interactive maps are currently available:

Ohio Mussel Atlas

This interactive map uses the ~31,000 Ohio freshwater mussel records from the Division of Molluscs. It contains layers for water bodies, counties, townships, incorporations, roads, and dams. Mapped on these are the collection sites. Clicking on a collection site will give information on all mussels collected from that site. Complex searches are available for combinations of any layer, i.e., all Pleurobema clava collected since 1980 in Pickaway County that were found as living specimens, etc.

Florida Liguus Atlas

This interactive map uses the 1,600+ records of Florida Liguus from the Division of Molluscs as well as those from Emmel & Cotter, 1995, Pilsbry, 1946, and Close, 2000. Hammocks, counties, and roads are plotted on a land use map. Color forms may be searched by name, or hammocks may be clicked for a full inventory.

iUnio

This is an interactive map to North American (Canada and USA) freshwater mussel distributions based on the records of the Division of Molluscs at The Ohio State University comprising ~79,000 lots and ~422,000 specimens. Catalog information on each lot is shown by clicking on the map point.
