City of Columbus

Columbus, Ohio
Columbus, the capital of the State of Ohio, is the state's largest city and the fifteenth largest in the nation (as of 2005). Newsweek and Money Magazine both named Columbus one of the top ten cities in which to work and live and one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. A ''big little'' city, with a metro area population of over 1.7 million (the nation's 32nd largest), Columbus combines the diversity of urban life with the friendliness of a small town. Its economy is varied, stable, and strong.

Art galleries, historic districts, museums, parks, performing arts, restaurants, shopping and sports activities abound and are easily accessible with the extensive public transportation system. The Ohio State University Buckeyes, the NHL Blue Jackets, the MLS Crew, and the MLB Clippers (Washington Nationals AAA team) all call Columbus home.

Located in the center of Ohio, Columbus is a short trip from other metropolitan areas such as Cincinnati, Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Detroit. The city is served by Port Columbus International Airport which provids multiple non-stop flights to both coasts and points between.
