Review of Lecture 27. Heating up: Global Warming.

1. CO2 concentration increasing rapidly--will double in the next 100 years. Will the rise result in global warming?

2. What factors contribute??? Burning of fossil fuels; deforestation. Have humans pushed the system over the edge?

3. Human population growth -- out of control in some areas, but under control in others.

4. Human impact on environment is dramatic -- deforestation, desertification, loss of biodiversity.
