| Alumni society members will join with faculty and current students to call top high school students who have applied to Ohio State and have indicated interest in Biological Sciences. The alumni share experiences and answer questions about OSU and our college. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Students participating in undergraduate research projects in the field of biological sciences will gather to display and discuss their progress. Every student participant will receive a gift certificate and is eligible to compete for several prizes. Written evaluations and suggestions for improvement will be provided to all participants, to help polish and refine their work. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| A luncheon for graduates, parents, family, and faculty is held after graduation practice each June. This is an opportunity for alumni to welcome new graduates to our society and congratulate them on their accomplishments. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Biological Sciences Alumni Society will host a golf outing on Ohio State's Gray Course this August. All profits from the tournament will go to the Biological Sciences Alumni Scholarship Fund. All golf enthusiasts, alumni and friends of the university are invited to participate. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Alumni will join with Biological Sciences dean, faculty and OSU President Karen Holbrook for the dedication of the new Stanley J. Aronoff Laboratory of Biological Sciences on Friday. Senator Aronoff, along with his friends and family will attend, as well as the OSU Board of Trustees and the President's senior staff. Saturday's activities will include an alumni society board meeting and elections, followed by a tailgate and OSU football game. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| For the second year in a row, the Biological Sciences Alumni Society joined with the Young Buckeyes of Central Ohio Alumni Club and the Friends of Stone Laboratory for this event at the Lake Erie facility. The groups collaborated for a weekend retreat consisted of a variety of community service projects and volunteer work at historical island sites, as well as socializing and networking within the groups. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
