Research Interests:

The project that I am working on will use the software package Ecopath with Ecosim (www.ecopath.org) to answer several questions about Ohio reservoirs.  The Ecopath portion of the package provides a “snapshot” of biomasses and energy flows in an ecosystem and will be used to model energy flows in Ohio reservoirs.  This will provide a better understanding of how they function.  The Ecosim portion of the package provides dynamic simulation capability and will be used to examine the suitability of Ohio reservoirs to support the stocking of hybrid striped bass (Morone saxatilis x M. chrysops).
