The American Cancer Society's Survivor Scholarship Program
Designed to provide younger cancer patients/survivors assistance in pursuing higher education. Provides $1,000 to recipients for the academic year.
Business and Professional Women's Career Advancement Scholarship
Created to award financial assistance to disadvantaged women who want to further their education. Provided to women who wish to advance their careers or will soon re-enter the workforce.
The American Chemical Society's Scholars Program
Scholarship program for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or other related fields. Designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic/Latino and American Indian students to pursue undergraduate degrees in the chemical sciences and chemical technology.
Clara Abbott Scholarship Program
The Clara Abbott Scholarship Program can bring a college-level education within reach for the children or dependents of Abbott Laboratories employees and retirees by providing college-level scholarships for tuition, fees, books and supplies, based on financial need.
Cleveland Scholarship Programs, Inc.
Provides scholarships for specific Cleveland area students planning to attend a four-year college of university.
Golden Key National Honour Society Scholarships
Golden Key believes in rewarding its members for their academic, leadership and service excellence. The Society honors more than 700 members annually with exclusive scholarships totaling nearly $500,000.
GM/Frigidaire Scholarship
Offered to employees, retirees and immediate families of any General Motors or Delphi division in Montgomery County, Ohio. Established to assist with expenses related to post-secondary education.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
Provides scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of current or former United States Marines; and to the deserving sons and daughters of current or former United States Navy Corpsmen who have server with the United States Marine Corps. Particular attention being given to child whose parent was killed or wounded in action.
National Federation of the Blind Scholarship Program
The Federation grants thirty scholarships annually to legally blind persons in higher education from college freshmen to doctoral candidates. The scholarships range in value from $3,000 to $12,000.
UNCF/Merck Undergraduate Sciences Research Scholarship Awards
This program is designed to increase the number of African Americans in the pipeline of biomedical science education and research.
