 Greenhouse Service Assistant:

Work in the tropical environs of the Biological Sciences Greenhouse. Raise and maintain plants for class and research use through propagation, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, weeding, pruning and such. Responsibilities also include lab set-up and tear-down, light maintenance and repair of greenhouse equipment, stocking materials and supplies, and some heavy lifting.

$8.65/hr, flexible hours including weekends once trained

 Student Research Assistant:

Arthropod care/feeding/watering, reculturing insect stocks, arrange/clean/maintain lab, plant care/watering/fertilizing/repotting. Good opportunity to learn about insects, basic animal care and daily operations of an insectary.

$6.50/hr, flexible hours during business hours and weekends
