53rd Acarology Summer Program Draws to Successful Close
The highly-respected three-week Acarology Summer Program drew to a successful close, Friday, July 11. Two workshops, in Introductory Acarology and Agricultural Acarology, brought 31 participants from 14 different foreign countries and all over the United States to learn from the world's top experts in the study of ticks and mites. Courses were taught by CBS faculty Hans Klompen, Dana Wrensch, Rodger Mitchell and Glen Needham. Additionally, guest lecturers from Venezuela, the Netherlands, Florida and Michigan provided their expertise.
