Student Mentoring
There are many ways for biological sciences alumni to get involved in helping current students. Our alumni can help by providing students with academic and career advice, as well as answering general questions about OSU and campus life. They can prepare students for life after college by helping to develop an understanding of various fields through observation or hands-on experience.
The college hosts an annual Career Day in conjunction with the Biological Sciences Undergraduate Research Colloquium in the spring. Students gather to hear a panel of alumni share career experiences and answer questions. Biological Sciences alumni from various disciplines offer an inside look at career options for biological sciences majors.
