DNA sequence of high quality is characterized by sharp peaks and little to no background as seen below. DNA sequences of high quality typically result in a read length of 850 to 950 bases with an accuracy of 99%. Currently the positive control sequencing reactions have an average read length of 980 bases with 99% accuracy.
