Financial Aid
(Hamilton Hall, Department
of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry Department)
All
students admitted to the Program receive full
financial aid in the first year. Most
students receive Graduate Research Associate appointments, and some highly qualified
students receive University Fellowships. The stipend for Autumn
2007 is $23,600. University Fellows will receive $26,600 for the duration
of the fellowship. Both include a waiver of tuition and
fees. We anticipate that the
stipends for Autumn 2008 will remain the same. The OSBP offers Graduate Research Associate positions and University Fellowships for the first year, and the research advisors provide support in the following years.
Students can expect continued financial support while
enrolled in the Ph.D. program as long as they are in good academic
standing and making satisfactory progress
toward the degree.
For
Autumn 2008 Applicants:
Students who wish to apply for university fellowships
should check the appropriate box on the application form, and
submit a complete application by the fellowship deadlines
listed below. There
is not a separate application form for fellowships. The Admissions Committee will begin the review of applicants in January 2008 and letters of offer will be mailed by the end of February 2008.
Deadline: US Students - January
