Faculty Overview

The OSBP is a broad-based graduate program involving research faculty from six different colleges at the university.  As a graduate student in our program, you will be able to select your graduate faculty advisor from the colleges of  biological sciences, engineering, mathematical and physical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine.

Our program has grown dramatically over the years as the life science departments across the university fill their ranks with biochemists and researchers employing the tools of biochemistry.  In addition to their traditional departmental affiliations, many of our faculty are also members of other interdisciplinary research units on campus such as the Biotechnology Center and the Comprehensive Cancer Center.  This wide range of specialties offers diverse opportunities for research.
