Elliptio fraterna (Lea, 1852)

Type locality: Columbus, Georgia; Abbeville District, South Carolina.

Range: Apparently in the Apalachicola and Savannah River systems.

Remarks: There are no specimens of this very rare species at OSUM. It is obviously related to mcmichaeli from the Gulf drainages, and is separable based on anatomy.
