Type locality: Black Creek, Florida.

Range: St Marys, St Johns, Kissimmee, and Suwannee River systems.

Remarks: Small specimens, such as #4 above and the holotype, are winged but this becomes less apparent with age. Specimens may be rayed or rayless.
