Doctoral candidates must have a minimum of 21 quarter hours in molecular genetics courses at the 700-900 level (excluding credit for thesis research)

• With the approval of the Graduate Studies Committee, other 600-900 level courses may be used to satisfy this requirement
• Candidates generally participate in the teaching program in molecular genetics or biology
• Other requirements may be specified by the Graduate School or Graduate Studies Committee.
