Little Brown Bats (Myotis lucifugus) in the lab

All of these pictures were taken in the anechoic chamber where we run our experiments and exercise our animals.  The yellow, lumpy stuff you see on the walls and ceiling is sound absorbent foam that helps to decrease the echoes coming back to the bat.

This is a rather blurry picture of a little brown bat (Myotis lucifugus) that we found on campus recently.

This is the same little brown bat circling the room.
