Penstemon pseudospectabilis picture Penstemon pseudospectabilis is a member of Penstemon subg. Penstemon sect. Peltanthera subsect. Spectabiles (Bennett et al. 1987). The bluish cast to the foliage is due to a waxy coat on the leaves (i.e., they are glaucous).
