Penstemon cyathophorus

Penstemon cyathophorus is a member of Penstemon subg. Penstemon sect. Anularius (Bennett et al. 1987). It is found in Colorado and Wyoming. This specimen was growing in sandy soil at an elevation of 8500 feet. The close-up photo was taken with a ring flash attached to my 50 mm macro lens.|
